Friends of Educational Excellence (FREE) Partnerships helps Rochester students succeed in school by supporting volunteers who tutor students during the school day with the guidance of teachers. Our goal is to enhance the learning environment in Rochester schools by providing enough volunteers to enable every student to achieve academic proficiency. This is an important component of the Rochester Community Coalition's top priority to significantly improve third-grade reading proficiency to dramatically improve Rochester students' educational achievement.
